Why is ESC important to you?
After being part of the club for over 10 years, I can truly say ESC has become a second family. I have made lifelong friends and feel as if I am constantly supported by those around me. From coaches to teammates, everyone helps and encourages those around them, leading to an amazing team spirit.

I have developed many skills through swimming and the dedication it requires that I can take forward in my life and it has enabled me to have more self-confidence and determination.

I have seen ESC grow over the years and can’t wait to see where we go next.
As the boy’s club captain this year, I hope I can make new and current swimmers feel at home and encourage them to be the best swimmers they can be.

Why is ESC important to you?
I am a relatively new member to ESC. From the minute I joined ESC I was welcomed with open arms and everyone made me feel like I had always been a part of the club. Just a month after joining ESC I started seeing results in my events and got more county times.

I have made lots of friends that I feel comfortable to talk with, and being part of ESC makes my life so much better for my mental and physical health.

I have recently started to help teach some beginners before my training sessions, which I really enjoy. I hope I will be able to make a difference and help them improve their swimming.

As Junior Team Captain I will try my very best to support the younger swimmers and boost their confidence in training and competitions.
