ESC is taking the quality of its competition to the next level, with the rollout of new state-of-the-art WYLAS Swim Timing System.
The system includes wireless stopwatches with lanyards and digital recording software. By synchronising all the stopwatches to the same start signal, the system has improved accuracy compared to manual stopwatches. The wireless component eliminates the need for manual writing of times on paper after each swim, with times uploaded directly to the computer from the stopwatch. With most swim meets relying on parents to man the stopwatches, this system takes away a lot of the pressure off volunteers and makes for a much smoother running of meets.
WYLAS Timing’s software is fully compliant with FINA & US swimming’s timing regulations.
The Meet Mobile app that provides live results of meets will also be accessible with the launch of the new system.
